Putaruru is a small town in the central north island of New Zealand, quite famous for its water. So, in 2006, they decided to have a water tasting competition… and wouldn't you know it, they named Waiwera the "Best Boutique Water". Now we’re not entirely sure what they mean by "boutique", but suspect it has something to do with the fact that we’re a little family business and not a big, scary multi-national… Whatever the reason, thanks Putaruru.
