WAIWERA WINS GOLD AT 'WATER OLYMPICS' IN USA, 2006
At the 16th annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Awards, known locally as the 'Water Olympics', more than 70 waters from a dozen countries and 22 American states competed for medals in four categories. Waiwera won the gold medal for the "The People's Choice for Package Design" Category ahead of other well-known international brands.
Arthur von Wiesenberger, perennial water master and founder of BottledWaterWeb.com, says "Waiwera Infinity artesian water captured gold with its shapely light green plastic bottle that snuggled comfortably into the hand".
